TALK & WALK - With Georgia Angus
Author, Artist & Bird Nerd!

With her love of science, bushwalking, and writing, this promises to be an inspiring and memorable experience for everyone.
Georgia’s infectious passion and depth of knowledge will invite us to slow down, connect with the beauty of nature, and perhaps spark our own creativity and curiosity along the way.
Georgia will also have her books and prints available for purchase at the event – and she takes commissions if you’d like to collaborate on a unique piece!

TALK & TASTE - With Tambo Valley Honey
100% Pure Raw Honey Sourced From The Hive
With over ten delicious mono-floral varieties to sample, we can’t wait to take your tastebuds on a journey through some of Victoria’s most untouched and pristine regions.

Locally owned and operated, Stacey and Ben created Tambo Honey to offer a full honey experience – and we can’t wait to share it with you!

HEAR FROM EMILY
Goongerah Wombat Orphanage
Emily lives in Goongerah, a remote and beautiful corner of East Gippsland rich with wildlife. Here she runs the Goongerah Wombat Orphanage, where she cares for orphaned, sick, and injured wombats with the goal of returning them safely to the wild.

You’ll be moved by Emily’s heartfelt stories and her passion for wildlife conservation.
Please note: Emily does not always have wombats in her care, so you may not see one during the day. You can, however, join the optional Night Walk – and with a little luck, you might spot a wombat under infrared light.

HEAR FROM HOLLY BAIRD
Friends of Beware Reef
Join us for a captivating presentation by Holly Baird – local diver and veterinary surgeon – as she shares her deep insights into the wonders of Beware Reef.
Beware Reef is truly a diver’s paradise. This dramatic, isolated rock rises from the Gippsland seafloor and teems with an extraordinary variety of marine life.
Sitting at the meeting point of the warm East Australian Current and the cooler waters of Bass Strait, the reef is home to a fascinating mix of both temperate and cooler-water species.
