Yes! The Great East event is now based at the one location to enable those wanting to bring their own caravan to do so. The event registration includes unpowered tent site so you will need to upgrade to the 'Powered BYO Caravan site'

Yes! You can bring your own bike, in fact most people do, however we do have a range of bikes for hire if you don't want to BYO. Perhaps your bike isn't suitable or you just don't want the hassle of bringing your own. We also have e-bikes for hire. Please remember this is a 'gentle journey' we want you to take your time, stop for photos, take it all in.

Yes! If you don't want the hassle of bringing your own bike, we have e-bikes for hire. You can add your bike when you book.

Yes there is power available at HQ. If you are upgrading your accommodation there most likely will be a power source available at your accommodation for charging.

The East Gippsland Rail Trail has had significant improvements in the past 12 months. The first 15km is sealed then you will experience compacted gravel and is generally an enjoyable riding surface.

Our tours are capped at 75 people for maximum enjoyment!

Yes! We allow a limited number of non riding participants to register. This means they can be involved in the event, their registration covers their meals at HQ, the entertainment, camp site. But they can not be a riding participant at any time and what they do during the riding time is at their own leisure.

Absolutely! This is a fantastic event to attend solo. You’ll enjoy shared meals, activities, and relaxed evening campfire time where you can connect with like-minded people. There’s also plenty of space to ride quietly at your own pace during the day — the perfect balance of community and personal time.
